EmbraceAbility is seeking a committed and strategic leader to join us as Chair of Trustees.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of a charity dedicated to disability care and poverty alleviation. As Chair, you will provide leadership to the Board of Trustees, work closely with the Director, and ensure strong governance, strategic direction and financial oversight.
We are looking for someone with experience or knowledge in areas such as strategy, governance, finance, HR or fundraising. Previous experience as a Chair or Trustee would be welcomed, though most important is a genuine commitment to our mission and values.
Chair Of Trustees
The Chair will:
Lead and support the Board of Trustees in fulfilling its governance responsibilities
Work in partnership with the Director to ensure effective strategy and delivery
Oversee financial integrity and risk management
Represent EmbraceAbility within the community and with potential funders
Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding and child protection
The Board meets at least four times per year, with additional contact as required.
